“Snow, snow, snow…. ENOUGH!”

Location: Bradford, UK

Since last week, it has been snowing.

The crazy snow even affected my return flight from France to UK. When I finally got to my flat after such an unnecessarily exhausting journey with EuroStar from Paris to London and then Bradford, instead of a more comfortable and less hasty initial plan to take Air France to Manchester, I saw much snow in my neighborhood. More than what I saw in France. Our side-roads were not salted or anything, so the taxi driver dropped me on the main street. Consequently, I had to walk with my heavy luggage for 200 m or so before reaching my home, leaving a trail on the snow. It was cold and made me even more tired.

A few days later, I fell on an icy ground. I slipped so “well” that my back started to be painful shortly. I was like an old lady for some days after that.

Now I am hoping that it will not snow anymore. I like snow when I don’t have to go outside at all. It is beautiful and kind of romantic. BUT I HATE IT when I have to travel (especially crossing borders!) and have to attend classes! Argh… I had it enough! Go away, snow!!!

雪、雪、雪、・・・もう十分！

場所：ブラッドフォード市、イギリス

先週からずっと雪が降ってる。

この雪のせいで、私のフランスからイギリスに戻るルートにまで影響が出たくらい。やっとのことで、元々のマンチェスター行の快適なエールフランスの帰路ではなく、ユーロスターのパリ発ロンドン経由のルートでブラッドフォードに着くと、辺りは雪だらけ。フランスで見たよりもあった。私のフラットがあるエリアの小さな道は、除雪されてなかったから、タクシーの運転手も私を大通りでポイ捨て。当然のごとく、私はその後家までの約200m を大きなかばんを雪の上を引きずりながら徒歩で行く羽目に。すっごく寒かった上、一層疲れた。

その２～３日後に、凍った地面の上をこけた。「上手に」こけすぎたせいで、背中全体がすぐに痛くなってきて、何日間か、おばあちゃんみたいな状態に。

ということで、もう雪が降らないことを今祈ってる。外に全く出ずに雪を眺めるのは好き。キレイだし、ロマンティックだと思う。でも、どっかへ行かなきゃいけない時（特に、国境を超えて）とか、授業に出なきゃいけない時は、だいきらい！あぁ～。。。。もういい。もう雪いらん！！！
