“My Adventure in Tours – Part 1: Sushi Shop”

Location: Tours, France

I was super lazy on Day 2, Day 3 and Day 4. Basically, I slept on until the afternoon. But let me focus on Day 2 for now.

On Day 2, I was so exhausted even after many hours of sleep. Slowly I started to sort out some Uni stuff and do other things until M came home in the evening. Then we made a brief stop at a supermarket and picked up G at the hospital where he works. Since I would be all alone the coming two days, they took me to the city center so that I would be a little more familiar with the town.

At the end of the little night tour, we decided to have sushi at Sushi Shop!! Hell yea, I was SO EXCITED! First of all, I was kind of disappointed at the quality of fish on top of sushi I had in London last November and since that moment on, I had been in serious search for quality sushi to “purify” my stomach. Secondly, the food in UK is just… hopeless as the whole world knows. When it comes to food in Bradford, everything is just NONSENSE! The desperate situation applies not only to the quality but also to the poor variety in general. So, my body SERIOUSLY needed a variety of quality fish. Tadaaaaa, the Sushi Shop really made me happy! My evaluation of the Sushi Shop is as follows:

1. They had many different kinds of seafood and fish! : 30 out of 30 points

2. Their menu was artistic in some ways! : 10 out of 10 points

3. The restaurant was very clean and stylish! : 10 out of 10 points

4. The staff were friendly (unlike most bossy waiters in BRD). : 10 out of 10 points

5. The quality of fish was good (to a European standard). : 15 out of 15 points

6. The presentation on each dish was unique and beautiful. : 15 out of 15 points

7. The only thing was the rice was a little too hard. L : 5 out of 10 points

Total: 95 points out of 100.

This is my choice for the day - "Sushi Lover" 20 Euro 

But I really enjoyed it!! I felt that I was REALLY enjoying food in my mouth at a “civilized” restaurant after so many months! I would definitely come back to the Sushi Shop when I stop by at Tours next time!

“みなこの冒険 in トゥール – 第1部：Sushi Shop”

場所：トゥール市、フランス

２日目、３日目、と４日目は、かなりダラダラした。午後まで寝る始末。ここでは２日目について書く。

２日目は、何時間も寝たのに、疲れがとれてなかった。M が夕方になって帰ってくるまでの間、ゆっくりと院のこととかをしたりして過ごした。で、M と二人でちょっとスーパーによった後、G を彼が働く病院まで迎えに行った。その後、しばらく私は独りでいろいろする予定だったから、二人が中心街まで連れて行ってくれて、私が街に少しでも慣れるように、案内をしてくれた。

夜の街案内の終わりに、Sushi Shop という名のお寿司屋さんにみんなで行くことにした！！マジ楽しみだった！第一に、１１月にロンドンで食べた寿司のネタの質にがっくりしたのがあり、その日以来おなかを「浄化」するために真剣においしい寿司を探してたの。第二に、イギリスにある食べ物は、世界中でも知れてるように、 。。。救いようがない（くらいおいしくない or 健康によくないものが多い）。ブラッドフォードでの食べ物に関しては、ただの「冗談」だね！こんなひどい状態は、食べ物の質だけでなく、種類の少なさにも言えること。だから、私のからだは真剣においしい魚を欲してたってわけ。そして、この Sushi Shop が私を本当に幸せにしてくれた！私の Sushi Shop の評価は以下のとおり：

1. 魚、その他魚介類の種類が豊富だった！：３０点中３０点

2. メニューが芸術的（？）だった！：１０点中１０点

3. レストランがすごく清潔でスタイリッシュだった！：１０点中１０点

4. スタッフがフレンドリーだった（ブラッドフォードの態度のでかいウェイターとは違って）：１０点中１０点

5. 魚の質がよかった（ヨーロッパの中では）：１５点中１５点

6. お皿の上のプレゼンがユニークで、キレイだった：１５点中１５点

7. ただ残念だったのが、お米が少し硬かったこと：１０点中５点

計：１００点中　９５点

でも、本当によかった！！すっごく久しぶりにまともなレストランで、口の中の食べ物を本当に楽しんだ。今度もしトゥールによることがあれば、絶対 Sushi Shop にまた来る！
